摘要： Aortic valve lithotripsy can fragment aortic valve calcium deposits and potentially restore leaflet pliability in animal model and ex-vivo, but clinical data is limited. Transcatheter aortic valve implantation (TAVR) might not be feasible as an urgent procedure in critically ill patients. Balloon valvuloplasty has the major limitation of valve recoil and inducing aortic regurgitation.

摘要： 文章旨在设计一个集成化的平面凸轮CAD/CAM系统,以提升设计和加工效率。采用模块化的设计理念,将系统分为CAD模块和CAM模块,分别负责凸轮轮廓线的自动生成和NC代码的自动生成。研究过程中,利用高性能计算机辅助设计工作站,实现了从理论轮廓线到实际轮廓线的精确转换,并确保了加工精度。通过SolidWorks Motion插件进行的运动仿真验证了系统的准确性和实用性。研究结果表明,该系统能显著提高设计与制造的效率和精度,为未来的功能扩展提供了良好的基础。

摘要： This study proposes a piecewise high-order differential interpolation method with rapid convergence to construct an ultrasmooth high-speed cam profile. The proposed method enables a solution to be realized to manipulate the dynamic performance of a cam profile with C3 continuity during the whole working process. The reconstruction characteristics of the cam profile by the high-order differential interpolation method are compared with the most commonly used linear profile interpolation strategy. Thus, the proposed piecewise high-order differential interpolation method is validated as a feasible and effective methodology to design and reconstruct an ultrasmooth cam profile.

摘要： Selection for invasive angiography is recommended to be based on pretest probabilities (PTPs), and physiological measures of hemodynamical impairment by, for example, fractional flow reserve (FFR) should guide revascularization. The risk factor–weighted clinical likelihood (RF-CL) and coronary artery calcium score–weighted clinical likelihood (CACS-CL) models show superior discrimination of patients with suspected obstructive coronary artery disease (CAD), but validation against hemodynamic impairment is warranted.

摘要： Fixed brackets are classified into various types among which the most recently used are CAD/CAM. They have customized slot, exhibit tooth movement independent of bracket position, and demonstrate enhanced bond strength. Thus, assessing the effectiveness and efficiency of CAD/CAM and conventional brackets was the goal of this research.

摘要： Coronary artery calcification is an integral part of atherosclerosis. It has been suggested that early coronary artery calcification is associated with active inflammation, and advanced calcification forms as inflammation subsides. Inflammation is also an important factor in plaque vulnerability. However, the relationship between coronary artery calcium burden, vascular inflammation, and plaque vulnerability has not been fully investigated.

摘要： 以温度敏感型聚丙烯共聚物P(MEO2MA-co-EGMA360)为研究对象,与棉织物的交联比例为17∶3,将其与棉织物进行交联,制成了一种新型的温敏纤维材料。结果表明:采用质量分数为8%高分子质量分数的交联棉织物,在130℃烘干2 min后,可使其在35~40℃发生突变,具有良好的温敏性;利用其在低温条件下的亲水性,可大幅度提高织物的清洗能力。当其高于相变温度时,其表层从原来的致密隔膜向多孔隔膜过渡,从而达到调控透湿量、实现改善服装穿着舒适度的目的。

摘要： Endocrowns can be fabricated from various materials as a treatment option for endodontically treated teeth. This mixed cohort study aimed to demonstrate the clinical efficacy of Endocrowns made of feldspathic, zirconia lithium silicate, and lithium disilicate ceramics using a chairside CAD/CAM system.

摘要： AbstractBackgroundNoncontrast computed tomography (CT) scans are not used for evaluating left ventricle myocardial mass (LV mass), which is typically evaluated with contrast CT or cardiovascular magnetic resonance imaging (CMR). ObjectivesThe purpose of the study was to assess the feasibility of LV mass estimation from standard, ECG-gated, noncontrast CT using an artificial intelligence (AI) approach and compare it with coronary CT angiography (CTA) and CMR. MethodsWe enrolled consecutive patients who underwent coronary CTA, which included noncontrast CT calcium scanning and contrast CTA, and CMR. The median interval between coronary CTA and CMR was 22 days (interquartile range: 3-76). We utilized a no new UNet AI model that automatically segmented noncontrast CT structures. AI measurement of LV mass was compared to contrast CTA and CMR. ResultsA total of 316 patients (age: 57.1 ± 16.7 years, 56% male) were included. The AI segmentation took on average 22 seconds per case. An excellent correlation was observed between AI and contrast CTA LV mass measures (r = 0.84, P < 0.001), with no significant differences (136.5 ± 55.3 g vs 139.6 ± 56.9 g, P = 0.133). Bland-Altman analysis showed minimal bias of 2.9. When compared to CMR, measured LV mass was higher with AI (136.5 ± 55.3 g vs 127.1 ± 53.1 g, P < 0.001). There was an excellent correlation between AI and CMR (r = 0.85, P < 0.001), with a small bias (−9.4). There were no statistical differences between the correlations of LV mass between contrast CTA and CMR or AI and CMR. ConclusionsThe AI-based automated estimation of LV mass from noncontrast CT demonstrated excellent correlations and minimal biases when compared to contrast CTA and CMR.

摘要： Traditional grafting practices exclude monocots due to their physical incompatibilities. Their distinct anatomical features, such as scattered vascular bundles and parallel venation and lack of vascular cambium, don't allow for graft healing. The recent development of embryonic grafting has disapproved the requirement of vascular cambium for grafting, instead relying on undifferentiated tissue. We grafted the embryos of two photosynthetically different plants- Zea mays (C4) and Dendrobium ovatum (CAM). We successfully generated grafts through a ‘whole embryo-protocorm’ method. The grafts showed multiple morphological characteristics, which included curling of leaves, stunted growth, and callus-like structure. We did an anatomical analysis to confirm graft union and vascular connectivity. The grafts showed over an 80 % survival rate across all morphology 30 days after grafting. The embryonic meristematic cells proliferated and healed the graft junction, thus allowing the grafted embryo to grow as an individual plant. This technique opens avenues for trait transfer between monocot crops. © 2024 The Author(s)
